책 소개
The editors and all of the contributors are affiliated with the Institute for Innovation Creativity and Capital at the U. of Texas at Austin. Since 1986 the Institute has cultivated a worldwide network of researchers regarding technology transfer, described in the introduction as "...a dynamic area of study that examines traditional topics such as intellectual property management, risk management, market identification, the role of public and private labs, and the role of universities." Thirteen contributions discuss policy, entrepreneurship, innovation, management, and commercialization--all with eyes on how to meet the world's many challenges through the creation and distribution of new technology. Offering a truly international set of perspectives, the articles discuss policies, activities, and case studies in China, Kenya, the UK, Israel, Japan, Korea, Malta, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Russia, and the US.
