책 소개
Ranci (economic policy, Catholic U. of Milan, Italy) teaches ethics of finance; he was the first president of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy and was among the founders of the Council of European Energy Regulators. Cervigni is affiliated (as director) with IEFE, the Center for Research on Energy and Environmental Economics and Policy at Bocconi U., Milan, Italy. For this volume they brought together seven contributions, five of which they wrote or co-wrote with each other or with other European experts. The topic is what happens when competition is introduced into electricity markets. Specific coverage includes wholesale electricity markets, generation capacity adequacy, congestion management and transmission rights, competition policy, retail competition, and effects of climate change.
