책 소개
Intended for undergraduate students taking their first course in international relations, this work covers the whole range of world politics. Kegley, Jr. (Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs) and Raymond (political science, Boise State U.) take a wide stance, including chapters on history, nongovernmental organizations, multinational corporations, and ecological issues. Each chapter begins with the learning objectives and ends with a summary and key terms. These could also be looked up in a closing 10 page glossary. This fifth edition contains updated maps, tables, graphs, and charts, along with new coverage reflecting the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. The information is also consolidated, with the number of chapters (and length) reduced. Students receive access to supplemental online resources such as articles in InfoTrac and Political Science NewsWatch. Annotation ⓒ2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
