Europe is facing eroding competitiveness to a degree that starts to question the viability of our economic and social model. High electricity prices, driven by taxes and levies slow down renewables-based electrification and under mine industrial competitiveness. This report examines the structure of electricity bills in France, Germany, Spain and Poland and their impact on residential and industrial consumers.
