This report provides a comparative analysis of the EU’s decarbonization policies with those of the industrial powers of Asia (China, South Korea and Japan). It is built on two main pillars:1) A roadmap for a bold and ambitious European industrial decarbonization strategy, drawing on practices rolled out in Asian countries. 2) A sector-based approach that focuses on the decarbonization of two crucial, high-emission industries: steel and aluminum.
